Nope! Cats have to eat cat food. This is because they need a specific level of taurine in their diet. Taurine is an amino acid which is a type of protein important for feline heart and eye health. Dog food just doesn’t have high enough levels.
But don’t worry, if your cat eats an occasional dog kibble, this won’t hurt your cat.
